MUMSC Terms of Membership

1. Eligibility

Membership of the Manchester United Muslim Supporters' Club (MUMSC) is open to any Muslim who supports Manchester United Football Club, subject to admin approval.

2. Membership Conduct

Members must at all times conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the values of MUMSC and Manchester United Football Club. This includes treating all members, staff and the wider community with respect and dignity.

3. Membership Benefits — Community Membership (Free)

Community Members receive access to the MUMSC Community, Global Chat, Sisters Chat (where applicable), Charity initiatives, News, Podcasts and general community announcements. Community Members do not receive access to event applications, the Ticket Community, ticket ballots, MUMSC ticket allocations, paid member benefits, or future partner offers or member discounts.

4. Membership Benefits — Full Membership (£10/year)

Full Members receive everything included in Community Membership plus access to member-only event applications, future member benefits, future partner offers or discounts, and a digital membership card when introduced. Full Members can view and apply for MUMSC member events through the portal when applications are open.

5. Ticket Eligibility (Separate from Full Membership)

Paying for Full Membership alone does not unlock ticket access. A member is only ticket eligible when they have an active Full MUMSC Membership AND either a verified current Official Manchester United Membership or a verified current Manchester United Season Ticket. Ticket eligibility unlocks the Ticket Community, ticket ballot section, MUMSC ticket allocation applications, and the ability to receive ticket-related opportunities. A Full Member without a verified Official Manchester United Membership or Season Ticket retains paid member benefits and event access, but does not receive ticket-related access.

6. Membership Fee — Non-Refundable

Full MUMSC Membership fees are non-refundable. Membership fees will not be refunded if a member chooses to leave MUMSC, allows their membership to lapse, is suspended, or is removed from the community for breaching MUMSC rules, conduct standards or membership terms.

7. Renewal

Full Membership is renewed annually. Members will be notified prior to expiry. Failure to renew will result in loss of active Full Membership status and associated benefits. Community Membership does not expire and does not require renewal.

6. Termination

The MUMSC committee reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member has acted in breach of these terms or the Community Rules, or where their continued membership is deemed not to be in the interest of MUMSC.

7. Amendments

MUMSC reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes.

8. Membership Conditions

Membership is personal and non-transferable. Members must not share login credentials or membership benefits with non-members. All information provided during the application process must be accurate and truthful.

9. Communication Policy

MUMSC may contact members by email and/or WhatsApp regarding membership renewals, events, and community updates. Members can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting the admin team.

10. Partner & Sponsor Communications

MUMSC may, from time to time, share information about partner or sponsor activities that may be of interest to members. This is strictly opt-in - see the optional marketing consent during application. Member details are never sold to partners or sponsors.
